STAY AWAY!!! I had Gene's come out for an A/C service last June where they had to replace 2 parts and when I had started the unit in April, it would not come on. I called another company to look at it, as when Gene's was scheduled to complete my furnace check-up, they did not show for a confirmed appointment (in which they had called the night before) because I didn't answer my phone when the technician was on his way. I called back in 10 minutes and they had already cancelled? So, on the A/C unit found out that the connectors they used were junk (2 broken and one came loose because it was cheap), per the new company, and had to replace. I called Gene's to let them know and they told me that they would have a "manager" call. Matt called me back and as I was trying to explain the situation, not asking them for anything just informing them of their horrible work, Matt was very condescending and kept talking over me. I explained my frustration with him, but his answer was that he was doing to me exactly what I was doing to him? I then had some other "words" for him. Gene's is doing a complete disservice having Matt speak to customers and I will never use their services again. I would advise anyone to look at other companies.

I am very disappointed and feeling perturbed. Genes HVAC came out a week ago, for a service call. They didn't honor the free first customer coupon in the value pak which would waive the service call fee. . Plus they charged me $115.00 minus $25 to just turn the arrow to open on two main vents. As I lay here freezing right now and all week I am calling other companies because Genes did me wrong. I would like them to make this RIGHT.

A contractor spotted a gas leak and we called Gene’s. They got a tech out in a short time, charged half the service call cost of another local plumber, and had the leak fixed in a very short time. The tech was very polite and professional, told us exactly what the issue was, and how he resolved it. I appreciate that the invoice also contains pictures of the repair. Thank you very much. My family already mentioned that we would call them back for any future plumbing needs.

Had to replace a 16 year old water heater and Gene's Refrigeration responded promptly with a same day installation. I called at 11 AM and the job was done by 4 PM. Joey, the installer, was very thorough and professional. I have used Gene's in the past and highly recommend them. They are local and have a good crew.

Tech came out for a tune up on the ancient air conditioner. He didn't try to sell me anything! Extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Took the time to educate me about my options for replacement. Will definately use again for furnace maintainance as well!!

I had a very positive experience with Gene's. I had them come out and do a maintenance check on my furnace as it wasn't running well. Ryan came out with another technician, diagnosed the issue and had my furnace running as good as new. Ryan was very knowledgeable and explained clearly what was required to fix the problem.

I had an electrical issue at my house. I called Gene's and they sent out Jacob to find out the cause of my tripped electrical breaker. Jacob meticulously went through the effected area of my house and diagnosed and fixed my problem. Not only was he a great electrician he was good guy who explained what happened and how he fixed the problem. He also fixed another issue in another electrical box that wasn't the cause of the original problem. He noticed wires in a electrical box that needed tightened up so he just went ahead and did it so it wouldn't become a problem down the road. I really appreciate the great work they did at my house.

After one summer with our new air conditioner it came to light that we needed more ducts and a cold air return in the upstairs of our house to make the system function. We have a century home and expected that there would be some work that needed done, just thought that was what we paid Gene's to do when they installed. I'm disappointed that Gene's did not mention any modifications that would need to be completed when they initially installed. My husband had to cut holes in our floors, install (2) ducts and cold air return and turn off a vent in another room to be able to make it function. Gene's should have told us this information when they came out to the house to quote the job initially! Truly disappointed that we had to "fix" our brand new air conditioning to make it functional in our house. Truly dissapointed that no one mentioned that we would need to make modifications to the whole system to get it to cool the upstairs. Unfortunately, I will not recommend them in the future.

I have been using Gene's for about 10+ years now. I have used them for both Heating and AC work and plumbing. All the Techs and office staff are great! It's always good to be greated on the phone or in person with a happy smiling person. Never just offer just one solution for things and they discuss them with you. I have never been disappointed. I recommend them to all my family and friends whenever they say they need someone.

I can't recommend Gene's enough. This is the second time we have used their services in the last 3 years and they're the epitome of how a customer should be treated. We had Chris fix the upstairs bathroom after a pipe had burst and flooded our kitchen ceiling. It was a truly unfortunate situation but Chris and his team were able to make us feel 100x better about everything. As I previously stated, I seriously cannot recommend Gene's enough. Customer Loyalty for life!!
